Responsible for maintaining the Group’s inventory and fixed asset register, you will be responsible for the addition and disposal of assets and reviewing invoice documentation to ensure accuracy is being achieved. LEAD FINANCE OFFICERS WORCESTER £24,358 TO £26,394 PER ANNUM 35 HOURS PER WEEK An exciting opportunity has arisen for Lead Finance Officers to work within our Service Charges team. You will ensure that the team is meeting their targets and that accurate and timely financial performance information including service charge budgets and year-end scheme accounts are being produced and interpreted, to enable informed decisions to be made. With recent experience of undertaking a similar role, including the use of financial systems such as SUN (including journal processing) and intermediate Excel skills, you will have knowledge of financial regulations, legislation and current practice. Fixed Term Contract to end of March 2014 We are looking for an experienced individual to assist the Estates Manager in the administration & management of the grounds maintenance and caretaking contracts. You will be responsible for making sure that a great service is provided to all communal and external areas on housing estates and developments under the control of MHS homes. Duties will include: • Carrying out day-to-day monitoring of the grounds maintenance and caretaking contracts and dealing with any issues that arise • Managing a range of estates services issues including fly tipping, complaints and service failures • Liaising with Housing Officers, Anti Social Behaviour Officers, Council Community Safety Officers, Environmental Enforcement Officers, the Police and other agencies in dealing with Environmental issues • Managing resident participation in conjunction with neighbourhood officer. The ideal candidate must have: • Previous experience of working in the construction service sector • Experience in managing a range of estates service issues • Knowledge of working with specifications and standards under a contracted arrangement • Experience of resolving complaints and liaising with customers.
